As Warbirds Downunder quickly approaches most of the display teams are busy preparing for the show including the Russian Rooletts!
At a secret base deep in Siberia … well OK not actually Siberia, more like a roasting NSW country airstrip 15 Yak and Nangchangs participated in a formation clinic including the team from the Russian Rooletts.
On a 40 degree day the red star air force put in plenty of air time including formation practice and tactical techniques.
At the end of the sweltering day the crews were treated to a red sunset as only country Australia can turn on!

Thanks Trever, it was hot day out there but well worth it. I am loving the nose art on those Yaks and Changs so much I’m putting a small article together on them in the near future.
